I sent my hardcover Greek New Testament to Rustic Leatherworks to be rebound in the mocha river goatskin. I placed my order and shipped it out on November 3rd and received it on November 28th. This was much faster than other online rebinders I found, some of which take up to 6 months or longer.
The work was done fast and very well. My Bible looks, smells, and feels much better now. The corner work on the interior was done well, and the cover is strongly edge-lined to the textblock. The goatskin is very soft to the touch. It is not as pliable as a goatskin bible with a lambskin or synthetic liner, but that is because the Buttero cow liner has more structure to it. It will also probably break in more over time. The color of the mocha goatskin is PERFECT. It is darker than it looks in the image on the website, and almost looks black in certain lighting.
I added full yap, perimeter stitching, double-tooled hubs, and no embossing on the spine. The double-tooled, raised hubs look VERY good. The yap came fully trained and is very much a full yap. It completely covers the pages and looks great. I am very pleased with the rebind and definitely recommend Rustic Leatherworks.
